Defining Gestures with Matisse

Edra revealed its new collection in Milan to immediate international acclaim — with the Dilly Lamp and the Anywhere Sofa in particular capturing attention.

The Anywhere Sofa by Francesco Binfaré, pictured above, speaks to versatility, with a movable structure that allows users to alter both the inclination of the backrests and the seat depth. Through simple adjustments, the sofa — comprising seven irregularly shaped elements — transforms fluidly to create multiple configurations.

Pictured above, the Dilly Floor Lamp by Jacopo Foggini is inspired by an abstract interpretation of the female figure. Crafted from hand-worked polycarbonate, it appears as a luminous, ever-changing silhouette shaped by reflections, transparency, and movement. Because each piece is individually formed, no two are identical, giving each a unique character.

Dilly is available in both indoor and outdoor versions, with adjustable lighting in gold or silver finishes.

Edra is available in New Zealand exclusively from Matisse.
