Interior of the Year 2026: The Finalists

Emerging from one of the programme’s strongest fields to date, 48 projects and designers have been named finalists across 10 categories in the 2026 Interior of the Year Awards.

Over the coming weeks, this year’s judges — Anna Hill, Gary Lawson, Abdallah Alayan, Federico Monsalve and guest international judge David Flack — will hear directly from the designers behind each project as they determine the category winners and the overall Interior of the Year 2026.

Alongside the judged awards, the Readers’ Choice Award recognises the project that captures the imagination of audiences across Aotearoa, and beyond.
