Defining Forms with Plumbline

As bathrooms become increasingly restrained, it is the strongest forms that leave the greatest impression — the bath, the basin, the silhouette of a tap becoming the elements that define the spatial experience.

Plumbline’s latest collections present a series of sculptural basins and freestanding baths that are conceived as architectural gestures; monolithic forms that anchor space with a strong sense of proportion.

Elongated lines and gentle curves give the Intra freestanding bath a refined profile that seems to hover within the space. It becomes a visual centrepiece, where form meets comfort. The Zaftig freestanding basin has a softly rounded shape that brings simplicity to the fore, letting material and form speak for themselves.

There is also a growing appreciation for pieces that carry the mark of the hand. The Terra 380 Round Vessel Basin by Gidon Bing brings an artisanal dimension to the bathroom — each basin crafted locally from vitreous stoneware and individually finished, giving every piece subtle variation and individuality.

Against these architectural statements, tapware is intentionally restrained. The Buddy Zero collection is refined, pared back, and designed to complement without competing.
