At an exclusive event in Auckland last month, we celebrated the 2023 Home of the Year winners and finalists.
The 2023 programme saw the largest number of entrants to date, and the largest group of finalists. “We were thrilled to present the finalists and winners and acknowledge the excellence and innovation of each and every one of the projects,” HOME editor in chief Clare Chapman says.
“It was a joy to explore these houses, and to celebrate the collaborations and bold concepts that brought them to life. To showcase these houses is a privilege; they are wildly diverse projects and there is no doubt that each will leave a lasting legacy.”
Home of the Year 2023 was presented in partnership with Colorsteel, Dryden, Dulux and Peter Fell, brands that exemplify the essence of Home of the Year: what great design means in the New Zealand context, says HOME’s Nat Davis.
This year’s awards evening was held at the Designer Rugs showroom in Auckland, where guests enjoyed an evening of French canapes, Jules Taylor wines, Citizen craft beer, and Antipodes water, while winners were presented with bouquets from Wild Poppies.
Entries for Home of the Year 2024 open in October 2023.
