From a new purpose-built headquarters in Christchurch to sculptural works shaped by playfulness and atmosphere, Nightworks Studio enters a new era under the direction of Kiri Morgan.
On a quiet side street at the edge of Christchurch’s commercial district, Nightworks Studio is evolving. Every detail is intentional. The studio’s story is defined by thoughtful collaboration and imagination, as well as by design itself.
With Kiri Morgan’s direction, the lighting studio is undergoing a purposeful transformation. Female leadership, careful craftsmanship, and creative freedom now define its direction.
This evolution is most visible in the studio’s new headquarters, a space conceived and built as a reflection of Nightworks’ philosophy. Spaces unfold with intention and simplicity.
“Nightworks has always been about creating atmosphere,” Kiri says. “This next phase is about building a studio and creative process that feels equally considered — one that supports curiosity and collaboration.”
Here, design becomes something felt as much as seen. Light shifts across curved forms, objects introduce softness into architectural space. As Nightworks Studio enters this new chapter, it does so with a renewed sense of purpose and a deep understanding of how atmosphere can transform the spaces we inhabit.
