Beyond Interiors with Tim Webber

Outdoor furniture occupies a particular territory in design. It must withstand exposure, movement, and changing seasons while retaining the material presence and refinement expected of furniture inside the home. At Tim Webber, performance and aesthetics meet in perfect harmony.

Tim Webber’s outdoor collection finds this balance through material, proportion, and construction. Drawing together pieces from his own studio and international design houses, the collection is defined by sculptural forms, generous proportions, and details that emerge over time.

“The collection is tied together by clean, classic lines and considered design details. We wanted to curate pieces that feel refined without being overworked, and that are made to last, both in their construction and their aesthetic,” says Tim Webber.

This approach is distilled in the Trace Outdoor Table, which carries an established interior design into the landscape.

“It carries through the same proportions and design intent as the original Trace table, but has been reworked to perform in the more robust conditions of the New Zealand outdoors,” Tim explains. “For us, it was about taking the same design language we use indoors and ensuring it translates naturally outside.”

Throughout the collection, this language shapes furniture made not only to endure the outdoors but to belong within it — pieces that invite long lunches, sunlit afternoons, and evenings gathered at the table.

Trace Outdoor Table

A substantial timber form lends the Trace Outdoor Table its architectural presence. Chamfered edges define its geometry, while a central slot accommodates an umbrella for necessary shade.

Generous in scale and restrained in expression, Trace anchors outdoor dining. It is robust for the elements, yet resolved with the precision of an interior piece.

Kin Outdoor Chair

The Kin Outdoor Chair balances generosity and structural clarity. Deep cushioning rests within a precisely resolved stainless steel frame. A perforated back panel and exposed structure lighten its substantial form.

Garapa timber introduces warmth and tactility. The chair’s expansive proportions invite a slower, more relaxed way of sitting.

Bensen Outdoor Able Sectional

Canadian furniture house Bensen introduces an outdoor sectional defined by an elegant framework of slender powder-coated aluminium, woven supports, and generous cushioning.

Its modular construction adapts to the scale and character of any space, from compact terraces to expansive outdoor living areas. Weather-ready materials and removable covers ensure durability without letting performance dictate the aesthetic. Available exclusively in New Zealand from Tim Webber Design.
