Enn

The Enn table takes its name from the Japanese word enn, a term associated with connection and harmony.

Also understood to mean ‘circle’, enn speaks to ideas of continuity and unity — concepts expressed through the table’s balanced composition. A truncated cone base clad in cowhide sits atop a circular metal footing that echoes the form of the tabletop above. Each elements relates to the next, resolving in a perfect circle.

Designed by Fumie Shibata for Flexform, the Enn table is available in New Zealand from Studio Italia.
