Ti Point House

Occupying a remarkable site above Leigh, this house by Crosson Architects approaches the landscape with admirable restraint. Rather than announcing itself loudly, it settles quietly into the contours of the land, revealing its presence only gradually as one ascends the hill.

Stone and dark timber allow the building to recede, while gently curved forms that cup, hug, and meld with the rolling hill create sheltered outdoor spaces and frame a variety of views across the coastline.

The composition breaks the programme into a series of connected spaces, each tuned to a particular outlook or moment in the landscape.

With its warmth, modesty, and evident affection for place, this project carries a quiet nostalgia and a genuine sense of care.
